Being a Son of 'Encouragement'...

EMERGE just ended today, which was literally a BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAST!

*I can't describe how HAPPY~~~~~ I am right now!!! arghhh!!!*

Well, the MINT Cluster won. They definitely deserve it =) Nevertheless it doesn't hide the fact that EVERY SINGLE CLUSTER did their very very best!

And I can't deny it's really an honor and a joy to go to people, regardless whether from my cluster to other clusters as well, giving encouragement to them, big or small, words and actions, time and effort.

Was I happy? Yes.
Was it worth the while? Yes.
Were they blessed? I definitely believe so.

Thus I ask..

What is RM5 to buy 2 donuts to a person who has done so much, and has gone through the whole day with so much things in the person's mind? Or blessing the hardworking POS members with light snacks (i.e biscuits) to those who has not eaten yet at all? Or offering to buy mixed rice to a person who is busy correcting memory verses in the room all alone, and has not eaten lunch yet?

What is praying a sincere and impactful prayer to the people that I know, I care and I love? To a person who is coughing badly, and has a performance of a lifetime just minutes away, or to a person who is about struggling to do a thesis that is due the next day? To a person who is on a verge of burning out, or to person who really really needs God to be there for him/her?

What is bringing extra bandages to a friend who hurt himself while practicing POS? Or frantically asking around for Panadol to a person having fever and headache?

And what is sending encouraging text messages, or dropping encouraging words at Facebook, or Email or MSN to a person who is all stressed up with his/her assignments, presentations, exams? Or to a person who is very down, burned out, dissapointed , bitter, sad and angry? Or to a person who is going through a very rough patch in life, and needed someone to be just there to support him/her? Or to a person who is about to embark and enter into a new journey in life filled with uncertainties and crossroads?

There's so much more to all this.. and yet I find joy doing so. Why?

It's all because I strive to be a Son of Encouragement =)

Everyone should have that kind of spirit Kev. Encourage one another to do their best regardless for cluster, study or others. I screwed up once and thought that it was funny but after being told, I realize I was wrong. Being one as a family (A BIG FAMILY), one must really learn how to speak words of encouragement. love you all kev, love chckl and i really miss the emerge fever T_T
