Few more days @ CACF office & Jogging session

Come this coming Friday, I will officially stop working at my church office, and also asides that, completely letting go of all the ministry that I'm involved in too. Feeling a bit emo now, but well, it's all good I could say.

Oh, some random thing to add, today while jogging, I encountered 3 cute kittens by the side of the road. I stopped and stared and 'meow-ed' at them(cause they are just super-duper adorable, and there's 3 of them! Cute x 3 = CUTEAWESOMENESS), and once I did that, all 3 of their eyes gazed intensively on me... We then just stared with each other for a couple of seconds ..(hopefully the neighbours around the area didn't start to think I'm some kind of lunatic or something..) and GOSH, the longer I stared at them, the longer their 'cuteness' began to 'fade'.. They began to look so scary to me!!! Their eyes were like conveying a message, telling me to buzz off or we'll bite you/call our mom/dad or something.. And so I continued on.. but.. *emo* .. lost a bit of mood to jog already *sobs* *my favourite kind of animal disowned me..* *sobs*..

On the bright side, while jogging on the other side of the street, I met this cute puppy, who was sitting of the grass, just outside of the gate of a house. I waved at it, and it gave quite a 'cheerful' bark (it seemed excited, and I can see it's tail is wagging rapidly) and to my surprise, he started to tag along and jog with me! Man, was I superbly encouraged :) Well, it only accompanied with me for a couple of meters (estimated about 30 meters), when it decided to go back to its 'comfort' spot and play with the grass (I didn't know puppies 'play' with grass, it's like they just chew on them or something..). Nevertheless it was all good. Had a fruitful 10 rounds before I call it a day.

Was listening to the audio book of "The Three Signs of A Miserable Job" by Patrick Leoncini just now (thanks again Zoey for introducing to me to such an amazing guy!). Stopped halfway (cause I already listened for about 2 hours + non-stop), when the 'person' in the book was about to manage a restaurant *spoilers hehe..*. Addictively good!

I seriously recommend his materials to everyone that I know, whether they are still students, and also especially to those that have some form of group/organization/ministry that you are in leading. He is REALLY REALLY GOOD! =)

Well, I guess I'll have another *emo* day at work tomorrow. Gonna treasure the time there even more right now...

the 'Flood'... List of Things to do..

The past few days have been raining heavily in the Philippines... thanks to the typhoon 'Isang'. Really made life quite HARD for a LOT of people back here... including ME! Ugh...

Anyways, this was the photo taken last Wednesday before I was heading to my church's office on the left hand corner of the photo...

Flood. Argh..

And on Thursday...

Lagi dalam...

What I heard from Pastor Noel, it's much more worse on the inside of the village..at least can reach your waist level, no joke. Traffic was pretty bad, and I couldn't even sun my clothes to dry. To make matters even worst, I've even heard of a tragic news that a baby died.

Here's the link..

*sighs*

Ok enough of the emo part. Lemme share with you my 'To Do List' that I've started doing a few weeks ago =)

As you can see, my priority on that day itself was to talk with Maria (Pastor Rick's wife) regarding the Morning Prayer Meeting schedule for the upcoming bulletin for August. #2 and #3 was also about the bulletin. The rest was to follow up on the youth members. ;D

The non urgent stuffs...

Sorry.. basically mostly was the planning of the budgeting for my trip and stay to Malaysia...and if you look closer on the second part - it actually says 'help the office staff'. Hehe. Surprisingly I was able to settle all of it on that Thursday itself. *Proud* Oh. I apologize if you find it really messy and hard to read. Handwriting too 'buruk' already. *shrugs*

Anyways my day was pretty today as well... replaced the guitarist for the San Buena church just now... and had a great rest back at home in my room alone listening to some soothing songs..had a great catching up sessions with a few people too =) To sum it all up, last week was really an awesome week! Looking forward to more awesome weeks ahead!

Morning prayer meeting... joint birthday celebration...after P & W practice..

Had a great morning prayer meeting at church today... Dave (Pastor Rick's friend who came over last Thursday night) prophesied such a timely word for me, and even gave me godly and good advise :)

Anyways, Pastor Noel and Ate Louisa had planned this 'surprise' for me today too... here are the pics :)

Ian & Kevin :)

Fried Chicken, Ice Lemon Tea, Pork Ribs, Fried Rice....
*Faith's (Pastor Noel's baby daughter) doll is there as well ;P*

Seafood + Sausage Macaroni! With cheese toppings!

LASAGNA! *my favourite!*

Princess...

Russell...
*FYI,both are Shih Tzus*

Ate Louisa told me the reason why Russell's 'hair' needs to be cut short is because 'he' can't take care of it well, unlike Princess. She then goes on to tell me that Princess is able to take care of her 'hair' better than Russell because Princess is a 'female'. Now that got me thinking, is she trying to say that guys are not good at taking care of their hair? Maybe there is some truth there.... *laughs*

Anyways after the birthday celebration at Ate Louisa's house, we went back to the church for our Praise and Worship session :) Pastor Noel's wife was the song leader for the week..

Pastor Noel then blessed us with donuts, soft drinks and chips after our Praise & Worship practice.. thanks Pastor Noel :)

Blessed day indeed ! :D

22nd Birthday Wishlist

These are the 7 items I've asked God for to bring to pass for my 22nd birthday :)
  1. Scholarship application approved (IMPORTANT*).
  2. Double portion of His blessings in the area of relationship that I have with my close/loved ones (with others as well), in the area of my finances, and also in myself - wisdom, character, personality and charisma.
  3. Double portion of anointing in the gifts and talents He has given me. From guitar, to my vocals, and even in the other gifts of the spirit, i.e prophesying, words of wisdom & knowledge, discerning, and so on.
  4. To lead my very own group of people that will impact their family, friends, campus, community and even the nation.
  5. To see the salvation of my brother come to pass. For my sister to grow closer in the Lord.
  6. For my mom's condition to be healed completely. If not, better than before.
  7. Physical condition to improve. Discipline to lose unnecessary fats, build stronger muscles, and maintain a proper healthy diet. To look smarter, sharper and more fashionable too.
